The PhD Network in Data Science is a collaboration between two Swiss universities of applied sciences (ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and SUPSI University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland) and four Swiss universities (UZH University of Zurich, UNINE University of Neuchatel, UNIBE University of Bern and UNIBAS University of Basel).
The aim is to offer students with a master degree (including degrees from an university of applied sciences) the opportunity to obtain a PhD in cooperation between a university of applied sciences and a university.
- New courses for spring semester 2021
- Prof. Dr. K. Stockinger will hold a course on „Big Data for Natural Sciences“ as part of the PhD Programm in Data Science at UZH. Start is planned for spring semester 2022.
- Obtaining a PhD as a member of the PhD network requires enrollment in a PhD programme of one of the participating universities, see Application page. As one option, a new PhD Programme in Data Science starts at University of Zurich.
